Warm up: Students should arrive at the studio at least 15 minutes before their class begins, to warm up. This is essential to maintain a healthy body and prevent injury.
Composition: Students are expected to behave in a polite and friendly manner both towards their teachers and fellow peers.
Shoes: Soft leather/canvas ballet shoes, and pointe shoes for ballet and neoclassical. Bare feet, foot thongs or socks for contemporary. Trainers and low heels for commercial (please confirm with the teacher first). Dance shoes must only be worn inside the Dance Flow Studio premises.
Uniform: Uniform must be worn at all times – no watches and jewelry allowed.
Hair: From Primary ballet upwards, hair for ballet must be worn in a secure bun. Hairpins and a net are recommended instead of wrapping elastics around the bun. For contemporary and modern, a secure ponytail is advisable.
Valuables: DFS is not responsible for loss or damage to personal items, so please keep your valuables safe.
Examinations: It is the School’s decision whether a student is ready for examinations. This decision is always taken with the best interest of the student in mind.
Payments: Payments are made online or at the studio at the beginning of each month. Fees are divided by 10 months.
